Container & Bag Pickup Request

This module is available to ag retailers across Canada with pesticide & fertilizer jugs, drums & totes, and seed, pesticide, inoculant & fertilizer bags & tote bags*.

When can I use the system?
The container and bag pickup request system is open for new requests from April 1st to October 31st each year, with most pickups occurring between May 1st and mid-November (weather dependent).
If you would like to request a pickup in the off-season, please contact Cleanfarms.
I have a pending request in the system. What now?
If you have the minimum required amounts (10 bags of jugs or bags, 10 bundles of bags, or 25 non-deposit bulk containers), the collections contractor will arrive within 10 business days.
If your request has been pending for more than 10 business days, if you are in:

Is there a cost to participate as a collection site?
No cost! Cleanfarms is able to offer ag waste stewardship programs to growers and collection sites free of charge. Our collection and recycling programs for containers & bags are funded by our member companies as a demonstration of their commitment to environmental stewardship.
Can all ag retailers sign up as a collection site and receive pickups?
We are always happy to grow the list of ag retailers across Canada that we serve. Before signing up, please:

- verify the material you have onsite was produced by a member company
If you answer YES! to the questions above, you may signup to join our ag waste stewardship programs.

I am not an ag retailer, but I have large amounts of containers or bags/ tote bags. Can I register for the Container & Bag Pickup Request Module?
Although most of our collection sites are ag retail locations, we may also be able to pick up from other locations (such as aerial applicators, distributors, golf courses, turf management companies, seed dealers, or seed treatment facilities).
First, please:
- view our Programs at a Glance page to ensure the material is accepted in your province
- verify the material you have onsite was produced by a member company
Then contact us with the confirmations above, the quantity of material (currently onsite and/or generated per year), your province, and we will advise.

To receive your Username/ Password/ Business ID you can request online, or email your provincial contact in Alberta or Saskatchewan.

Can anyone sign up as a collection site and receive pickups?

How do I request a pickup as an ag film collection site in Manitoba?
Ag film collection sites in Manitoba do not use the Grain Bag Pickup Request Module. Please contact us if you need to arrange a pickup.
