New in 2025! Newfoundland farmers – bring your rinsed and bagged pesticide and fertilizer containers to a Cleanfarms collection event for recycling.
This fall, you can bring back your properly prepared pesticide and fertilizer containers <23L to be recycled along with unwanted pesticides and old livestock/equine medications for safe disposal. Please hang on to your empty containers, set them aside in Cleanfarms ag collection bags, then bring them to the closest collection event between October 21 and 24.
Here’s everything you need to know:
- Containers must be triple or pressure rinsed and in a Cleanfarms collection bag to be accepted.
- Seed treatment containers must be bagged separately with caps on.
Collection events are coming to Newfoundland October 21 – October 24 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Find a collection event near you.
