Cleanfarms featured in International Solid Waste Association review on EPR

Canada’s vast geography stretching from the Atlantic to the Pacific offers a cornucopia of soil types and weather conditions that support a diversity of farming activity from growing grains and pulses, to fruit trees and horticulture, to beef and dairy cattle, to equine and smaller animal husbandry. These farming variations along with cultural nuances challenge the development of stewardship programs that promote environmental sustainability in farm management. With a decade of experience under its belt and three decades of a voluntary plastic packaging stewardship program to draw on, Canada’s Cleanfarms employs voluntary and regulated extended producer responsibility (EPR) to operate successful collection programs across the country.
