Farmers can safely dispose of unwanted agricultural pesticides and equine/livestock medications from October 18-20, 2016 at one of the designated collection sites listed below:

    Foxtrap, October 18, 10am - 3pm:

    Department of Transportation and Works Depot

    0.5 km north of TransCanada/ Foxtrap Access Road on Incinerator Road

     

    Lewisporte, October 19, 10am - 3pm:

    Department of Transportation and Works Depot

    6 km north of TransCanada/Route 340 intersection on Route 340

     

    Deer Lake, October 20, 10am - 3pm:

    Department of Transportation and Works Depot

    74 Old Bonnie Bay Road

 

What products will be accepted?

  • Obsolete or unwanted agricultural pesticides (identified with a Pest Control Product number on the label).
  • Livestock medications that are used by primary producers in the rearing of animals in an agricultural context (identified with a DIN number, Ser. Number or Pest Control Product number on the label).
